MARQUETTE MARATHON
​The Marquette Marathon, Half Marathon, and Wildcat 5K are destination races run through the beauty of Marquette County.

You'll be greeted in Marquette with a stunningly beautiful downhill course, sweet shirts, and quality finisher medals.
​
For 2026, the Marquette Marathon, Half Marathon, Marathon Relay, and Wildcat 5K will be held on Saturday, September 5th, with the race EXPO and kids run being held on Friday, September 4th.

The Marquette Marathon runs on a downhill/certified course that is an official Boston Marathon qualifier.
SUPERIOR DOME

The world's largest wooden dome, The Superior Dome, is the host of our EXPO and finish lines for all of our races.
​
The Superior Dome opened on September 14, 1991, is a domed stadium on the campus of Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan. It is home to the Northern Michigan University football team as well as its marching band and a variety of other campus and community events.
