The Marquette Marathon "Elite Athlete" program is designed for professionals and highly competitive runners who meet our qualifying standards. If you have posted an exceptional marathon or half-marathon time after September 1, 2025, you may qualify!
Elite runners who are accepted into the program will receive a complimentary race entry along with a designated Elite Runner position at the start of the race, giving you the best chance to chase that P.R.

Standards for both the marathon and the half-marathon must have been run after September 1, 2025, to qualify. Applications must be submitted no later than 30 days before the event.
